Combe Mill Society are extremely grateful to Weishaupt who have kindly supported them by providing an oil burner for the standby boiler together with technical support.

Spirax Sarco provided assistance in 2006 by providing parts and technical advice to permit us to refurbish the total dissolved solids meter (TDS) that monitors boiler water quality.

In 2007 they generously donated a self- acting temperature control system for use in preheating the boiler feed-water tank.

In 2010 they generously replaced the blowdown valve of our steam boiler and in 2011 they donated replacement steam traps.

You can easily become a donor and help to keep the Combe Mill Museum alive.

We depend on voluntary contributions and can only maintain this fascinating industrial age time capsule with the help of individuals and businesses.

Contributions can be of cash or in kind.

Please contact the Secretary with your offers of support by calling 01993 358 694 or by email Secretary@combemill.org

The Society would like to express its gratitude to all those who in the past have donated objects and collections that now form part of the artefacts display.

Since the 1970s the Blenheim Palace Estate has backed the Combe Mill Museum by permitting the Combe Mill Society to occupy the Mill and to maintain, develop and display the building and contents.

Martindale Electric generously provided a PAT tester to Combe Mill at a discounted price to enable us to check the electrical safety of our portable appliances.  A volunteer is a qualified PAT tester.

CertEx checked all our lifting gear in 2010 at no charge and we are most grateful for their support.

In 2009 funds were provided towards restoring the waterwheel which is now turning reliably. We received funds in 2008 to help equip our disabled toilet and the year before in 2007, we received funding to provide water treatment for the stand-by steam raising boiler.  That boiler was purchased second hand in 2006 with the help of a heritage support grant.  This has allowed us to keep steaming while the Cornish boiler is out of action.

As volunteers we are glad to receive financial support from the district without which running the Mill would be much harder.
2010 - West Oxfordshire District Council (WODC) heritage support fund provides £400 to us towards installing a CCTV system to enable disabled visitors to see parts of the Mill machinery they cannot get access to.
