Combe Mill

Amoungst all the other things made at Combe Mill were parts for wheelwrights. The belt-driven lathe was used to make the wooden hubs and the recently restored band saw was used to cut out wheel rim sections called ‘felloes’.  Different felloe patterns can be seen for various diameter cart wheels.
