…….a place to discover

Combe Mill

Foreman’s Office

As part of the conservation project the Foreman’s office has been reinstated as it would have been in the early 1900s - occupied by Clerk of Works Edward Nash.

Old time sheets dating from this period were discovered above the lath and plaster ceiling and can be viewed  together with other worker’s notebooks, ledgers and old trade catalogues.

The office is also the base for our Educational visits or it can be set up for meetings and presentations.

The Foreman over saw everything that took place in Combe Yard and within the Mill.
