Combe Mill Society are extremely grateful to Weishaupt who have kindly supported them by providing an oil burner for the standby boiler together with technical support.

Spirax Sarco provided assistance in 2006 by providing parts and technical advice to permit us to refurbish the total dissolved solids meter (TDS) that monitors boiler water quality.

In 2007 they generously donated a self- acting temperature control system for use in preheating the boiler feed-water tank.

We depend on voluntary contributions and can only maintain this fascinating industrial age time capsule with the help of individuals and businesses.

The Society would like to express its gratitude to all those who in the past have donated objects and collections that now form part of the artefacts display.

Since the 1970s the Blenheim Palace Estate has backed the Combe Mill Museum by permitting the Combe Mill Society to occupy the Mill and to maintain, develop and display the building and contents.

In 2006 West Oxfordshire District Council kindly provided a grant towards the purchase of the pre-owned standby steam boiler which will enable us to continue with open day steamings
while the original Cornish boiler is out of action.  In 2007 they awarded a grant towards providing boiler water treatment and in 2008 another grant towards the cost of equipping a disabled toilet.
